I zip through chapter 17 of Offworlder, a book I wrote in a month. Margaux initially misunderstands a homophone that really isn't funny. Henry asks for background information that leads to an entire chapter of dull, insufficient explanations. I wonder if creating a female character who likes shoes was sexist. Discussion questions close out a magic-free chapter!
