Homecoming Chapter 2

2020-02-19

I breeze through chapter 2 of Homecoming, a book I wrote in a month.  Margaux buys breakfast, scares a child, and gets muddy.  Henry becomes concussed after waking up in a horse-drawn carriage.  Margaux becomes enraged that Henry doesn't understand her family history even though they've probably been together for a few years at this point, which makes one wonder if he even listens to her at all when she talks about her childhood that clearly left her with baggage and trust issues in her adult life, especially when faced with possibly seeing her family again in the near future.  I wonder if perhaps I delve into nostalgic but boring stories a bit too much.  Some exceptionally weak discussion questions end this boring episode!
